Directions and Location - How to get to the Berghotel Sudelfeld

The Berghotel Sudelfeld, the only sports hotel directly in the ski area, which you can also reach by car in winter via the German Alpine Road Bayrischzell-Oberaudorf.

A bus stop ("Unteres Sudelfeld / Parkplatz") is located 400 metres from the hotel.
The following buses run here:

1. During the ski season (depending on the ski lift and cross-country ski run) a ski and cross-country ski bus runs.
The ski bus takes you directly to the Sudelfeld and is free of charge with a ski pass, cross-country skiing ticket or the Bayrischzell guest card.

2. In summer 2023 also again from 14.05.2023 the "Wendelstein ring line".

3. In addition, the municipality of Bayrischzell offers a hiking bus that will transport you to destinations that cannot be reached by public transport by prior arrangement. For this, registration is required at least one day in advance at the Tourist-Info Bayrischzell under Tel. 08022 - 648.
The hiking bus operates Mon - Fri from 09:00 to 16:30 by arrangement and availability and is free of charge for all Bayrischzell guests with a guest card (which you receive from us with your check-in).

By Car

Take the A8 'Autobahn' as far as the exit for Weyarn (Junc.98).
Leave the motorway (A8) and follow the B472 towards Miesbach. Remain on this road, which in Miesbach becomes the B307 to Bayrischzell.
Continue to follow the B307. Go through Schliersee and stay on the B307 towards Bayrischzell.
In Bayrischzell itself please keep on the main B307. This then takes up into the mountains via "Tatzlwurm" (hairpin bends). The right-hand turning for "Berghotel Sudelfeld" is near the top of the pass.

You will find free parking directly in front of the hotel.

With an e-car:

Of course, we offer all guests who come to us with an electric car the possibility to charge their car free of charge. We have the following charging options available for you:

1 x type 2-plug: 480 V, 22 A
2 x CEE-plugs: 230 V, 16 A
4 x Schuko-sockets: 230 V, 16 A

We will gladly reserve a charging station for you, just let us know before your arrival. At the moment we charge 1,- € per charged kWh.

Otherwise, there are plenty of free parking spaces for your car directly at the hotel.

By Train from Munich:

You can travel by direct train to Bayrischzell. There is a regular direct service to Bayrischzell from Munich's Main Railway Station operated by "BOB" (Bayerische Oberland-Bahn). Journey time approx 1 hour 15 minutes. From there you take the local RVO bus to Sudelfeld.

Quick, convenient and congestion-free on the piste!

Includes the day ski pass and the return journey within the entire MVV network (zone M-11) to the destination station Bayrischzell as well as the bus transfer to the valley station.
The MVV (Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund) and the Bayerische Regiobahn will take you from Munich to Bayrischzell every hour. From there, the free ski bus takes you directly to the Waldkopfbahn valley station.
The MVV thus offers a greater range for a fast, comfortable and congestion-free journey by public transport.
